The 32nd Annual Women Take Back the Night Rally and March was an evening of remembrance, celebration, and action to stand against all forms of violence against women and children. It was held on a bustling Second Saturday in October, 2011.

WHERE: The Sacramento Native American Health Center at 2020 J Street in Sacramento
WHEN: Second Saturday, October 8
5:30PM – Resource Fair
6:00PM – Rally (includes speakers, music, spoken word, dance, and more!)
8:00PM – MARCH
Resource Fair
Tables were set up for our co-sponsors and non-profit partners to share information on their organizations, services, and opportunities with Rally participants. In addition, the fair included activities for children with the theme “Planting the Seeds of Change” – activities included seed planting and paper-flower making.

The March
Began at 8:00pm and entailed walking a route through the Midtown area while chanting and protesting violence against women. The March was the highlight of the evening, as we marched in solidarity through the streets WE ARE TAKING BACK!
